Summary

This study tests whether giving the drug cemiplimab before lymph node surgery can prevent Merkel cell carcinoma from spreading to nearby lymph nodes. About 135 adults with early-stage cancer will receive either the drug or a placebo before their scheduled biopsy. The goal is to see if this approach reduces the chance of cancer returning.
