Summary
This study tests whether adding two immunotherapy drugs to radiation therapy can better shrink advanced rectal cancer than standard chemoradiation. About 342 adults with a specific type of rectal cancer will be randomly assigned to one of three treatment groups. The goal is to see if the new approach leads to a complete disappearance of the tumor, potentially allowing patients to avoid surgery and keep their rectum.
