First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study is checking the long-term safety and performance of a device called the Celect Platinum Vena Cava Filter, which is placed in a large vein to catch blood clots and prevent them from reaching the lungs. About 82 people who already have or will get this filter will be followed for up to 5 years. Researchers will track problems like filter movement, breakage, or new clots, and see how often the filter can be successfully removed.
