First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested a treatment called Complex Decongestive Therapy (CDT) for people with venous insufficiency, a condition where leg veins struggle to send blood back to the heart. Twenty-one adults received either CDT plus exercises or exercises alone. The goal was to see if CDT could improve vein flow and reduce swelling. The study is complete, but results are not yet widely available.
