NCT ID NCT07552974
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 28, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a daily 200 mg dose of cannabidiol (CBD) for 12 weeks can reduce inflammation, ease pain, improve sleep, and boost quality of life in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes. One hundred healthy athletes aged 18-40 who train at least 3 times a week will be randomly assigned to receive CBD or a placebo. The goal is to see if CBD offers a safe, drug-free way to help athletes recover from intense training.
