First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new radiation treatment for people with a life-threatening fast heart rhythm called ventricular tachycardia that hasn't been helped by medication or prior procedures. About 24 adults with an implanted defibrillator will receive a single, targeted dose of radiation to the heart area causing the problem. The goal is to find the lowest effective dose that reduces episodes of this dangerous rhythm and improves safety.
