First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether daily capsules of cannabis compounds (CBD or THC) can reduce pain interference in people with hip or knee osteoarthritis. One hundred adults aged 40-80 will take either CBD, THC, or a placebo for 8 weeks and track their symptoms remotely. The goal is to see if a larger trial is possible and whether cannabis offers real pain relief.
