Cancer care comes home: mayo clinic tests house calls for treatment
NCT ID NCT05969860
Summary
This study is testing whether giving standard cancer treatments at home is as safe and effective as giving them in a clinic. It aims to see if receiving care at home reduces stress, improves quality of life, and is preferred by patients with advanced cancers. About 220 participants will be randomly assigned to receive their usual therapy either at home with nurse visits and remote monitoring or continue going to the clinic.
