First human test of experimental cancer drug begins

NCT ID NCT06285097

Summary

This early-stage study tested a new cancer drug called PF-07820435, both alone and combined with an existing immunotherapy drug (sasanlimab), in people with advanced solid tumors. The main goals were to find safe doses and look for early signs that the treatment might help shrink tumors. The study enrolled a small number of participants with various advanced cancers, including lung cancer and melanoma, who had limited treatment options left.
