Scientists test new drug duo to starve and stop advanced cancers

NCT ID NCT02498613

Summary

This study is testing whether taking two oral drugs, cediranib and olaparib, together can help control advanced cancers that have spread or cannot be surgically removed. It is for adults with specific types of advanced lung, breast, or pancreatic cancer who have already tried at least one standard treatment. The goal is to see if this combination can shrink tumors and slow their growth by blocking their blood supply and interfering with cancer cell repair.
