Study scans how local cancer centers use genetic tests

NCT ID NCT03804255

Summary

This study aimed to understand how community cancer clinics test for biomarkers—specific genetic changes in tumors—to help guide treatment decisions for common cancers like breast, lung, and colorectal. It planned to survey pathology labs to see what tests they run, how quickly they get results, and what factors influence their testing practices. The goal was to identify gaps and best practices to improve care, but the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
