First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called AZD7798 in 30 adults with active Crohn's disease who have an ileostomy (a surgically created opening in the belly for waste). The goal is to see if the drug is safe and can help repair the lining of the small intestine compared to a placebo. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo, and neither they nor their doctors will know which they got.
