Coffee's hidden link to brain disease?

NCT ID NCT03034122

Summary

This study investigated whether caffeine consumption affects how Huntington's disease progresses in people who carry the gene but don't yet show clear symptoms. Researchers followed 77 adults with the Huntington's gene mutation, measuring brain changes, movement, thinking skills, and behavior over time. The goal was to understand if caffeine acts as an environmental factor that might speed up or slow down the disease.
