New combo attack on lung cancer: targeted drug plus surgery or radiation

Summary
This early-phase trial is testing whether adding local treatments like surgery or radiation to the targeted drug brigatinib can help control advanced ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer. About 35 people who have not yet taken other targeted therapies will receive brigatinib followed by local therapy to any remaining tumor spots. The main goal is to check safety, but researchers will also track how long the cancer stays under control.
