Can breathing exercises ease the burden of serious illness?

NCT ID NCT06788886

Summary

This study is testing whether a daily routine of guided breathing exercises can improve brain health and mental well-being. It is enrolling patients with multiple sclerosis or certain cancers, as well as their caregivers, to see if the practice reduces symptoms like fatigue, anxiety, and depression. Researchers will use MRI scans to measure changes in brain oxygen flow and compare the breathing program to a walking program.
