NCT ID NCT07449273
First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether two types of breathing exercises—pranayama and pursed-lip breathing—can help reduce pain and anxiety after breast surgery. About 126 adults having their first breast surgery will be split into three groups: one doing pranayama, one doing pursed-lip breathing, and one getting usual care. They will practice breathing for five minutes, three times a day, and researchers will check their pain, anxiety, and vital signs on the first and second days after surgery.
