Ultrasound and drug combo tested for aggressive brain cancer

NCT ID NCT06329570

First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated Apr 22, 2026

Summary

This study is testing whether using a focused ultrasound device (NaviFUS) along with the cancer drug bevacizumab is safe and can help control recurrent glioblastoma, a very aggressive brain tumor. The treatment aims to temporarily open the brain's protective barrier with ultrasound to help the drug reach the tumor more effectively. It will involve about 10 adults whose cancer has returned after standard treatments.
