New scan aims to see immune cells inside brain tumors

NCT ID NCT06650163

Summary

This early-phase study is testing whether a new radioactive tracer, called Zr-89 crefmirlimab berdoxam, can help doctors see immune cells inside brain tumors using a PET scan. The goal is to see if this non-invasive scan can accurately show where immune cells are active, which could help guide future treatments. The study involves 20 adults with brain tumors who are already scheduled for surgery.
