Electric brain zaps aim to lift severe depression

Summary
This study tests if mild electrical stimulation on the brain's surface can help people with severe depression that hasn't improved with other treatments. About 15 participants will have a small device surgically placed under the scalp to deliver targeted pulses. The goal is to see if this approach safely reduces depressive symptoms over a year.
