Scientists scan teen brains to predict who beats cannabis addiction

NCT ID NCT07340554

Summary

This study aims to see if brain scans can predict how well teens respond to a cannabis treatment program. Researchers will scan the brains of 80 teens (ages 14-17) who use cannabis, then have them join 10 weeks of virtual sessions where they report use and take drug tests. Teens can earn prizes for staying cannabis-free, and researchers will check if their initial brain activity relates to their success in the program.
