Summary
This study tests whether injecting Botox into the thumb joint can reduce pain and improve hand function in people with base-of-thumb osteoarthritis. 120 adults with moderate to severe thumb pain will receive either two Botox injections, one Botox and one placebo, or two placebo injections. The main goal is to see if Botox provides better pain relief at 6 months compared to placebo.
