First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether proteins in the blood can help predict if someone will develop Alzheimer's disease or memory problems. Researchers will test blood samples from 1,800 older adults and compare them with brain scans and thinking tests. The goal is to develop a simple blood test that could diagnose Alzheimer's earlier and more easily.
