First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at 258 adults having non-cardiac surgery to see if checking blood pressure every minute with a standard arm cuff works as well as using a continuous artery line to prevent low blood pressure during anesthesia start. The goal was to find out if the simpler, less invasive method is good enough. Results will help guide how doctors monitor patients safely.
