Could a common pill help stroke survivors control blood pressure?

Summary

This study looks at whether adding spironolactone to standard blood pressure treatment works better than standard treatment alone for people who have had a stroke. About 160 adults who survived a stroke will take part. The main goal is to see if home blood pressure readings are lower after 3 months with spironolactone.
