First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested a physical therapy technique called blood flow restriction in 31 adults with hemophilia who have ankle joint damage. The goal was to see if it safely improves muscle strength, reduces pain, and boosts quality of life without causing bleeding. Participants did exercises with a cuff that partially limits blood flow, and researchers tracked their progress over several weeks.
