Can a simple device keep blood flowing and prevent dangerous clots?
NCT ID NCT05469282
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This completed trial tested a device called Ceragem Master V6 to see if it improves blood circulation in people at risk for deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and in healthy adults. 59 participants used the device once, and researchers measured changes in blood flow speed and vein size using ultrasound. The goal was to see if the device could help prevent blood clots by improving circulation.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Ceragem Master V6 (blood circulation device)
What this could lead to
If it works, this device could help improve blood flow and reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in people at risk.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 59 participants and no comparison group, so results may not apply widely. The device is already on the market, so the benefit over standard care is unclear.
