First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This early-phase study tests a new drug called BL-M14D1 in 22 adults with advanced small cell lung cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, or other solid cancers that have not responded to standard treatments. The drug is given by IV every 3 weeks. The main goals are to check safety, find the right dose, and get a first look at whether it can shrink tumors.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
BL-M14D1 (a drug given by IV infusion every 3 weeks)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a new treatment option for people with advanced small cell lung cancer or neuroendocrine tumors who have run out of standard therapies.
What could go wrong
This is a very early Phase 1 trial with only 22 participants, so the main goal is safety and dosing, not proof of effectiveness. The drug may cause side effects or fail to shrink tumors.
