First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study collects extra tissue and fluid from routine lung procedures that would otherwise be thrown away. Researchers will use these samples to better understand lung complications in cancer patients. Up to 12,000 adults undergoing pulmonary procedures at the Cardiopulmonary Center may participate. The goal is to improve future care, not to provide direct treatment to participants.
