First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether certain blood markers can predict delirium (sudden confusion) in older adults with heart failure. Researchers will measure inflammation and metabolism-related markers in 100 participants and track who develops delirium. The goal is to find a simple way to identify high-risk patients early, so doctors can take steps to prevent or manage confusion.
