Liver function may change how lung drug works

Summary

This study looks at how the drug BI 1291583, being developed for the lung disease bronchiectasis, is processed in people with and without liver problems. About 32 adults aged 18 to 80 will take a single dose of the drug. Researchers will measure drug levels in the blood and monitor safety to see if liver impairment changes how the drug behaves.
