NCT ID NCT07298577

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a blood test called the GAAD score to regular ultrasound scans can improve the detection of liver cancer in people at high risk, such as those with cirrhosis or chronic hepatitis. About 2,100 participants will get both tests every six months for two years. The goal is to see if the combined approach finds more cancers early and reduces false alarms.
