NCT ID NCT07298577
First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a new blood test, called the GAAD score, can improve the detection of liver cancer in people who are at high risk, such as those with cirrhosis or chronic hepatitis. Around 2,100 participants will get an ultrasound and the GAAD blood test every six months for two years. The goal is to see if combining the blood test with ultrasound finds more cancers early and reduces false alarms compared to current methods.
