Summary
This study looks at how a beta-blocker (propranolol) and nicotine patches, alone or together, affect brain activity and cravings when smokers see smoking-related cues. Eighty daily smokers aged 21-60 will take part, but they won't try to quit or take the medications long-term. The goal is to understand the brain mechanisms behind smoking urges, not to test a treatment.
