Summary
This study tested a communication tool called "Best Case/Worst Case" to see if it helps doctors talk more clearly with older patients who are seriously injured. About 300 patients aged 50 and older took part at two hospitals. The goal was to improve how doctors share information and discuss treatment choices with patients and their families.
