Summary
This study tested whether Benson's relaxation exercise, a simple technique involving deep breathing and focusing on a meaningful word, could reduce anxiety and fear of movement (kinesiophobia) in 64 people who had total knee replacement. Participants practiced the exercise, and researchers measured their anxiety and fear levels. The goal was to see if this easy, non-drug method could help improve recovery after surgery.
