Can bladder training replace pelvic floor therapy for urinary leaks?
NCT ID NCT07259148
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests whether a simple behavioral program—like bladder training and avoiding certain drinks—works as well as pelvic floor muscle training for women with sudden, strong urges to urinate. Both groups also take standard medication. The goal is to find a treatment that is effective and easier to access, especially in places with limited healthcare resources. About 80 women will participate over 8 weeks.
