NCT ID NCT07184593
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at a new device that can measure a substance called nucleosomes in the blood right at the patient's bedside. Researchers want to see if these levels can help predict which critically ill patients will survive for 30 days. The study will include 130 adults in the ICU with serious conditions like sepsis, shock, or severe injury. It is an observational study, meaning no new treatments are given—just extra blood tests to see if the device works well.
