NCT ID NCT05987592
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares two non-drug, virtual programs for adults with migraine. Both involve 8 weekly group sessions and online learning. Researchers want to see if these programs can reduce migraine-related disability and improve mood. Participants can continue their usual medications.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
behavioral intervention (virtual group sessions and online platform)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide an effective, drug-free option to reduce migraine disability and improve quality of life.
What could go wrong
This is a behavioral study, not a drug trial, so benefits may be modest. Results depend on participant engagement and may not apply to all migraine types.
