New drug duo aims to extend life in Tough-to-Treat colorectal cancer

Summary
This study tests whether two immunotherapy drugs, botensilimab and balstilimab, help people with advanced colorectal cancer that cannot be removed by surgery and has stopped responding to standard treatments live longer. About 834 participants will receive either the drug combination or best supportive care. The study also checks if the drugs slow tumor growth, improve quality of life, and are safe.
