NCT ID NCT05381766
First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study enrolls 3,200 adults from immigrant communities in Brooklyn to see if a program offering subsidized, culturally-tailored fresh produce boxes, along with nutrition classes and gardening workshops, can improve fruit and vegetable intake and strengthen social bonds. Participants will have their diet measured via a skin scan and questionnaires, and will also report on neighborhood cohesion and belonging. The goal is to learn whether combining food access with education and community activities can make a real difference in diet and well-being.
