Summary
This study aims to improve how doctors monitor Barrett's esophagus, a condition that can lead to esophageal cancer. Researchers will collect tissue samples using a special brush during routine endoscopy, along with blood and small biopsy samples, from 50 adult patients. They will test new genetic analysis methods to see if these can better predict cancer risk and recurrence, with the goal of creating a more cost-effective surveillance strategy.
