Summary
This study follows 48 adults with active Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis who are starting biologic or JAK inhibitor therapy. Researchers use a quick, painless bioelectrical impedance scan to measure muscle mass and other body composition changes at the start, 24 weeks, and 52 weeks. The goal is to see if these changes can help predict how well the medication works.
