Summary
This study tests a personalized virus therapy (bacteriophage) combined with antibiotics in one patient with a chronic, drug-resistant hip joint infection. The patient has no other good options left—without treatment, the infection could be fatal or require leg amputation. The goal is to control the infection and improve quality of life.
