Summary

This study compares two common antibiotics, azithromycin and doxycycline, in adults hospitalized with community-acquired pneumonia who are also receiving beta-lactam antibiotics. The goal is to see which one helps patients leave the hospital sooner and reduces complications. About 1,120 participants will be enrolled at Mayo Clinic.
