First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether the antibiotic azithromycin can help children with severe RSV infection who need breathing support in the ICU. About 370 children will receive either azithromycin or a placebo for three days. The main goal is to see if the drug shortens the time they need to stay in the hospital.
