NCT ID NCT00600496

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing whether adding an experimental oral drug called AZD6244 to standard chemotherapy is safe for people with advanced cancers like breast, lung, colon, and kidney cancer. The study will find the highest dose patients can tolerate and track how the body processes the drug combination. It involves 140 patients for whom standard chemotherapy is appropriate but a cure is not currently an option.
