New combo therapy aims to shrink advanced melanoma tumors

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of two drugs, axitinib and ipilimumab, can shrink tumors in people with advanced melanoma that has not responded to standard immunotherapy. About 25 adults with advanced or spreading melanoma will receive the treatment. The goal is to see how many patients experience tumor shrinkage or disappearance.
