This study follows women undergoing breast cancer surgery to see how often they develop axillary web syndrome (AWS), also known as cording—tight, painful cords under the arm that can limit movement. Researchers will examine participants before surgery and at several points over six months, checking for cords, measuring shoulder mobility, pain, and arm swelling. The goal is to identify risk factors and timing of AWS, so that rehabilitation can start earlier for those most likely to be affected.
