First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 31, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested whether an automatic device (IntelliCuff) or manual checks by nurses better maintain safe air pressure in breathing tubes for 32 children in intensive care. The goal was to see which method keeps pressure in the ideal range and reduces nurse workload. Results will help decide if automatic monitoring is worth using in pediatric ICUs.
