Summary
This study looks at whether scheduling automatic follow-up appointments after a child leaves the hospital is better than only seeing a doctor when needed. About 2,674 children hospitalized for pneumonia, urinary tract infections, skin infections, or stomach bugs will take part. The goal is to see which approach leads to fewer hospital readmissions and better recovery.
