First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looked at whether certain immune system markers (autoantibodies) are linked to how pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) progresses. Researchers examined blood samples from 629 adults with different types of PAH, including those with HIV, congenital heart defects, and connective tissue diseases. The goal was to better understand the disease, not to test a new treatment.
